Care home decorators
Anglia Decor have completed several large care home decorating projects on both new build and up and running homes. Our operatives are experienced in working alongside other trades and the demands of tight schedules for new build projects. We are also aware of the demands in carrying out painting works to up and running care homes, keeping our work areas tidy and the risk of injury especially around residents suffering with dementia.

Our team of care home decorators carried out a complete redecoration at Larchfield House back in 2013.
The job consisted of:
55 bedrooms with en suite’s
150 meters of corridors
Lounges and dining rooms
We were given a ward at a time to complete while residents were moved to other wards, thus keeping risks of accident or injury to a minimum. We had a team of 4 decorators for 2 months to complete this project on time and budget.
Care home decorators London
We started this new build project in Oct 2016 and it was completed in Jan 2017.
The job consisted of:
70 rooms with en suites, 10 apartments, 2 atrium’s- as shown in pic.
300m of corridors, Plant rooms, 2 dining rooms, lounges & staff quarters.
350 rolls of wallpaper hung giving feature walls to bedrooms, lounges and dining rooms
An atrium at Kirby cross care home
This job was featured in the Painting & Decorating Association magazine, “The Decorator” in Spring 2017. We ensured snagging work was completed quickly and leaks from the new heating system dealt with by stain blocking then filling and redecorating. Our work was completed ahead of schedule and to budget for our client, Building Themes International.
Anglia Decor can provide references from recent clients and provide risk assessment and method statements prior to starting work. We have also carried out external decorating projects to care homes, operatives are trained through IPAF to use cherry pickers. Our experience also extends to redecoration to warden managed retirement homes, we are experienced in hanging wide vinyl wall coverings- Muraspec and Tektura.
