The Project
Anglia Decor carried out a full cladding and roller door respray on an industrial unit in Colchester, Essex. The building's existing cladding had faded and weathered, and the roller shutter doors were showing signs of surface corrosion and peeling paint. The client needed a cost-effective solution to restore the building's exterior without the expense of full cladding replacement.
Surface Preparation and Coating
All cladding panels and roller doors were pressure-washed to remove dirt, algae, and loose material. Corroded areas were wire-brushed and spot-primed with anti-corrosion primer before the full surface was coated. The roller doors received a dedicated preparation regime to ensure adhesion across the ribbed steel profile. Two coats of high-performance exterior coating were applied by airless spray, delivering a clean, even finish across the full elevation.
The Result
The finished building looks transformed, clean white cladding panels with a freshly sprayed blue roller door. The respray has extended the life of the existing cladding and doors, giving the client a building that looks professional and well-maintained at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
