Project Overview
Anglia Decor completed the installation of 3,000m² of epoxy resin flooring across industrial units at Witham, Essex. The units required a durable, high-performance floor system capable of withstanding heavy forklift traffic, pallet storage and general warehouse operations. The existing concrete substrate was in raw condition and needed full preparation before coating.
Preparation & Installation
The concrete substrate was mechanically prepared using diamond grinding to create a clean, profiled surface for optimum resin adhesion. Any cracks, joints and surface defects were repaired prior to coating. Anglia Decor applied a multi-coat epoxy resin system comprising a penetrating primer, body coat and sealed topcoat, delivering a smooth, high-gloss finish with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.

Result
The industrial units at Witham now have a seamless, high-gloss epoxy resin floor that is ready for warehouse and logistics operations. The reflective finish improves light distribution across the units, reducing the need for additional lighting. The floor is designed to deliver 15–20 years of service life under normal warehouse traffic conditions. Great job by the team completing on time.
