Overview
Anglia Decor was contracted to carry out a full cladding spraying and window frame respray across 6 industrial units in Witney, Oxfordshire. The site included a former Post Office distribution centre, and the buildings required a complete external refresh covering both profiled metal cladding and powder-coated aluminium window frames.
Surface Preparation
Our team worked systematically across all 6 units, preparing each building in sequence to maintain efficiency and minimise disruption to the estate's tenants. All cladding surfaces were degreased, pressure washed, and rubbed down to remove oxidation, dirt, and any loose or failing coating. The aluminium window frames required separate preparation, each frame was cleaned, degreased, and keyed to ensure proper adhesion of the new coating system. All glazing was fully masked to protect glass surfaces from overspray.
Coating System Applied
We applied Zinsser Allcoat Exterior in satin finish to all cladding and window frame surfaces across the 6 units. Zinsser Allcoat bonds well to both profiled metal cladding and powder-coated aluminium, making it suitable for a mixed-substrate project like this. The product was applied by airless spray in 2 coats to deliver a uniform, weather-resistant finish across every elevation. The satin sheen provides a clean, professional appearance that brings the entire estate up to a consistent standard.
Results
The Witney industrial estate cladding and window respray was completed on schedule across all 6 units. The former Post Office distribution centre and surrounding buildings were fully transformed, with both cladding and window frames restored to a uniform, professional finish. The estate now presents a cohesive appearance that reflects well on the commercial tenants operating from the site.
