Anglia Decor Ltd. commercial decorators for large scale painting projects across Essex and London. We have a team of commercial decorators, DBS checked and IPAF qualified. Our operatives are time served and well experienced, we provide rams prior to work commencing. Once the project starts we give regular toolbox talks, monitor the progress of the job and ensure work at height is carried out with minimal risk and to high standards.
Anglia Decor carry out projects for block management and construction companies, schools and local authorities. We also work for business, churches and public houses around Essex and London, carrying out cyclical painting works to their properties.
We specialize in external redecoration to blocks of flats and offices. Our commercial decorators are well trained and experienced in the use of cherry pickers to keep access costs to a minimum. We can supply scaffold quotes when needed at very reasonable rates from trusted companies. Where projects are notifiable to HSE under CDM2015 regulations we can advise and ensure the project complies.
Case Study: Grays civic offices
Task: 3×7 floor staircases at Grays civic offices had not been painted for 20 years and needed redecoration.
Solution: Our team of commercial decorators started this project by masking up all sensitive areas ready for airless spraying. The walls were a textured finish and hadn’t been painted in 20 years. Top atrium areas of the staircase were scaffolded to provide safe access. We applied 2 coats of acrylic eggshell to walls and ceilings. The metal handrails were prepared and given a high grip primer followed by 2 coats of Dulux Metalshield in a contrast colour. All work completed out of office hours to minimise disruption.
Result: This project was completed as scheduled and on budget. We quoted as specified for 2 coats and applied a 3rd coat f.o.c. to make the wall colour look more uniform. Carpet fitters followed behind our team to remove and refit carpets throughout.
