Industrial roof spraying- The process
1 Carry out drone survey.
This will give you a condition report for the roof and enable us to give an accurate quote for cut edge corrosion work required. We will also be able to see any work needed to gutters.
2Arrange underside netting & scaffold edge protection.
This meets HSE guidelines to working at height, giving our operatives safe access and ensuring safety for the duration of the project.
3 Prepare the roof
We use an industrial degreaser and fungicidal wash to clean the roof. Prefinished plastisol coatings can debond from the metal substrate. Pressure washing at 3000psi will remove any defective coatings.
4 Treat cut edge corrosion & replace defective areas.
Areas of roofing beyond repair may need sections replaced.
Our team grind back any cut edge corrosion and apply the appropriate system to prevent further damage.
5 Mask sensitive areas & spray apply roof coatings.
We use a range of industrial roof coatings providing from 10-25 year warranties.
The most popular roof coatings are Delcote, Girocote and Noxyde.
Cut edge corrosion solutions
Industrial roofing can show signs of corrosion along the cut edge. This area most prone to moisture ingress. Once water penetrates it can create rust and the coating starts to debond from the metal cladding. If left untreated, rust can errode the profile and cause leaks to your building.
We can use Giromax, Delcote and Tor coating cut edge systems to treat any corrosion before spraying the cladding, giving further protection.

Giromax® Roofcoat for Asbestos
Giromax® Roofcoat for asbestos cement is a BBA certified asbestos roof repair system. It is completely moisture tolerant, meaning it works just as effectively on damp surfaces to provide a matchless, safe and cost effective solution that extends the life of a roof for up to 20 years.
Our team are able to carry out large scale roof spraying projects.
This project was completed using Tikkurila Pansari, a water based acrylic coating.
It’s important to meet HSE guidelines when working at height. We are Chas and Constructionline accredited for health and safety.

Industrial roof resin coatings
Anglia Decor completed this industrial roof using Tikkurila Temadue polyurethane resin coating back in 2019.
Scaffold edge protection and underside netting was installed to protect our operatives while working at height.
We degreased and pressure washed the roof to prepare. Then rubbed down and masked roof lights. We then sprayed the resin coatings to give a 1 year warranty
