Archive Warehouse Cladding Spraying

Requirement:
We were called by Archive Warehouse to quote a spraying project to 4000m2 of industrial cladding. The plastisol coating had started to debond from the metal profile and had not been painted since installation. The colour scheme was in need of an update to a brighter and more modern grey. The windows and shutter doors also needed a refresh in Anthracite grey.

Solution:
We hired in a cherry picker to provide access for the project and arranged a scaffold to an area between buildings. Our operatives have IPAF certification, working at height and SSSTS qualification. We arrived and started with degreasing and pressure washing the cladding to make ready for spraying.  We sanded the cladding to ensure all defective and flaking paint was removed.. Our team primed any bare metal using Zinsser Allcoat and applied a top coat of Noxyde in Goosewing grey. The windows, shutter doors and top band of cladding were painted in anthracite dark grey. We also sprayed the brick wall and underside ceilings in goosewing grey.

Results:
The project was completed on time and within budget. Our cladding spraying team completed the work during normal business hours ensuring to minimise disruption during busy periods at Archive Warehouse. The change of colour scheme really transformed this warehouse giving it an expected lifespan of 10-15 years.
