Cyclical painting of flood barriers
Requirement:
We were called by The Environment Agency to quote for cyclical painting works to their floor barrier defences in Pitsea and Benfleet. Both sites needed ceilings, walls, metalwork and floors
Solution:
Both sites needed ceilings, walls, metalwork and floors prepared and painted internally. There were also some railings and metal doors to decorate. One of our teams of painters spent 2 months over winter 2019-2020 completing the project. Walls were stabalised using Zinsser, then decorated in hard wearing durable eggshell. Floors were diamond grinded and vacuumed, then painted in a water based epoxy.
Results:
We completed the project on time and budget. The new paintwork should last for years.
