How a warehouse goes up with Anglia Decor

1. Feasibility and outline brief

Send your plot, target floor area and use. We come back inside three working days with a draft column grid, eaves height, outline scope and draft programme.

2. Planning and pre-construction

Planning application, technical design, statutory undertaker liaison and CDM 2015 pre-construction information, all managed in-house.

3. Build

Groundworks, steel portal frame, composite cladding, power-floated slab, M&E, dock equipment, yards and access. Weekly client updates with photos and a live programme dashboard.

4. Handover and aftercare

Practical completion with O&M manuals, building regulations sign-off, a TR34 floor flatness survey and a 12-month defects period. We answer the phone after handover too.

Quick answers

How long does it take?

A 10,000 to 20,000 sq ft unit runs 16 to 24 weeks on site. A 50,000 sq ft warehouse runs 28 to 40 weeks. Big DCs run 9 to 18 months.

Do I need planning permission?

Yes, almost always. Usually under B2 or B8 use classes. We run the planning route end to end, including transport, drainage and SuDS.

Can you build alongside live operations?

Yes. Phased programmes with separated logistics and permit-to-work interfaces are a core part of what we do.

What about cladding and roofing?

Composite insulated panels are the default. We also run industrial cladding and industrial roofing as standalone services for over-clad and roof replacement.

Do you offer design and build?

Yes. Design and build, two-stage tender or JCT traditional. Design and build gives the fastest route from brief to a single, fixed contract.
