The respray programme covers the full shopfront elevation: frames, transoms, mullions, fascia panels, signage boards, canopy soffits, roller shutter guides and housings, threshold plates, and external window sills. Glazing, door handles, locks, and letter plates are masked , not removed , to avoid the risk of seal damage during refitting. The result is a complete, uniform finish across every visible element of the shopfront in a single mobilisation.
Shopfront Spray Application by Specialist Contractors
Shopfront spraying is typically completed overnight or during early morning hours to avoid disrupting trade. Anglia Decor arrives after closing, masks all glazing, signage, and adjacent surfaces, prepares and sprays the shopfront, and is finished before opening the next morning. For multi-unit retail programmes , shopping centres, retail parks, high street portfolios , work is phased unit by unit across consecutive nights so every shopfront receives the same treatment with no trading disruption.
Surface preparation on a shopfront is detailed work. Aluminium is degreased with solvent wipe and abraded with Scotchbrite pads to create a mechanical key for the primer. Powder-coated surfaces are abraded to break the gloss and provide adhesion for the new system. Steel sections are wire-brushed at corroded areas, treated with rust converter, and spot-primed. UPVC is cleaned, degreased, and primed with a specialist plastic adhesion primer. The primer layer is the foundation , skip it or use the wrong one and the topcoat peels within 6 months. Anglia Decor uses substrate-specific primers tested and approved by the topcoat manufacturer.
