Case Study: Oaklands Collage

We carried out an external redecoration of the wooden cladding pictured. The previous coating had failed due to poor preparation and lack of appropriate primer. Our team of school decorators worked from a tower scaffold to thoroughly rub down and scrape back the defective coating. All powder coated windows and doors were masked up. Our decorators applied knotting solution to resinous areas and primed all bare wood with the Dulux Werathershield primer. A rooftop area (not pictured) required scaffold, we subcontracted a company to install & dismantle, giving access over delicate extractor ducts. We then applied 2 coats of Black Dulux Ultimate Weathershield Wood Stain. this system provides an eight year lifespan. This project was completed on time and within the budget set out.
