Industrial Cladding Services
Industrial buildings need cladding that actually works. Whether you’ve got a warehouse, factory, retail unit or agricultural building, the wrong system costs you money in energy bills, moisture problems and eventually structural damage. We install everything from basic profiled metal cladding through to high-performance composite panels with insulation cores that meet Part L Building Regulations and modern fire safety standards.
Most companies come to us for one of three reasons: they’re building new, they’ve got an old asbestos cladding job that needs removing, or their existing system is failing. We’ve tackled all of it. Profiled metal sheets work best for simple warehouse coverage—they’re cost-effective and quick. But if you need serious thermal performance and compliance with current building regs, composite panels are the answer. Kingspan, Euroclad, Tata Steel—we work with the big manufacturers and know which system suits your budget and building use.
What matters is this: cladding isn’t just about appearance. It’s your weather barrier, your insulation, your fire safety line. Get it wrong and you’re looking at condensation inside, heat loss, water ingress, failed inspections. We’ve done overcladding work that’s completely transformed old factory buildings, kept the business open the whole time, and dropped energy costs by 30-40%. That’s the kind of job we do. Our overcladding service is specifically designed for retrofit work without shutting your operation down.

Fire Safety, Repairs & Composite Systems
Fire safety matters. Post-Grenfell, anyone specifying cladding needs to think seriously about Euroclass ratings and A1/A2 classification. We source materials that comply. Honestly, it’s not complicated if you’re working with a contractor who knows the regulations—we do this regularly across Essex and London.
Installation method counts. Through-fix versus secret-fix, horizontal versus vertical orientation—these choices affect long-term performance and maintenance. We assess your building’s exposure, wind loading, thermal movement and moisture risk, then recommend the right approach. Some sites need additional membrane work, cavity barriers or specialist flashings. We handle that without faffing about.
We also do cladding refurbishment including repairs and repainting—if your existing system’s still good structurally but needs a refresh or section replacement, we can do that work cost-effectively. And if you’re thinking about wall cladding installation with composite panels specifically, we’ve got the technical knowledge to spec the right insulation core—PIR, PUR foam or rockwool—based on your U-value target and fire requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between profiled metal cladding and composite panels?
Profiled metal is single-skin steel sheet—cheap, quick, no insulation value. Composite panels sandwich insulation (PIR, PUR or rockwool) between metal skins, giving you thermal performance and better fire ratings. For new buildings needing compliance with current Building Regs, composite is usually the right choice.
Can you do overcladding without stopping our business?
Yes, that’s our specialty. We’ve overcladded dozens of operating factories and warehouses. Proper sequencing, temporary weather protection, weekend work when needed—we keep your building functional while the job’s underway.
What fire rating do I need?
Depends on your building’s use and local authority rules. Post-Grenfell, A1 or A2 Euroclass materials are increasingly required. If you’re above a certain height or in certain building types, there are stricter rules. We’ll advise based on your plans and location.
How long does an industrial cladding installation take?
Depends on size and complexity. A 5,000 m² warehouse might take 6-8 weeks with a full crew. Overcladding jobs that avoid building closure take longer but keep you operational. We’ll give you a realistic programme before we start.
Can you replace asbestos cladding?
Yes. We remove old asbestos panels safely and install modern replacement systems. It’s a proper job with licensed waste disposal. Costs more than like-for-like sheet, but you get modern fire safety and energy performance.
What warranty do you offer?
We back our installation workmanship for 10 years. Materials come with manufacturer warranties—typically 20+ years for composite panels, 15-20 for profiled metal depending on finish. We’ll arrange all that paperwork with the suppliers.
